That dentist is Dr. Lirie Doyle Avellanet, DMD, who trained at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus and completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
What people ask before they book.
Will veneers make my teeth look fake?
Only if they’re designed badly. Shade is the easy part. What gives fake-looking veneers away is proportion and edge shape, which is why every case is planned against your own face before anything is made.
Does treatment hurt?
You’ll hear what’s about to happen before it happens, and you can stop at any point. Numbing gel goes on before any injection.
What will it cost?
Nobody gets a number over the phone, because nobody can see your teeth over the phone. The consultation ends with an itemized plan and a price. If that’s more than you want to pay at once, we set up an in-house plan.
How long does a smile transformation take?
Whitening is one visit. Veneers run a few appointments from scan to placement. Implants are the long one: six to ten months from the surgical phase to the final crown.
